1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and data generated through your use of our services.
Information you provide
- Contact & account details: your name, email address, business name, and website URL — collected through our Tally.so intake form at the start of your engagement.
- Business and content details: your industry, target audience, brand voice notes, topic preferences, and any other information you share to help us create content for you.
- Billing information: payment method details processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Communications: emails, support requests, or feedback you send to hello@verbmint.com.
Information collected automatically
- Basic web analytics: page views, referral source, browser type, and device type via standard server logs.
- Intake form submission metadata (timestamp, form ID) from Tally.so.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to deliver and improve the VerbMint service:
- Content generation: Your business details and brief are used to draft blog posts and social captions via our AI-assisted pipeline (powered in part by Anthropic's Claude API).
- Content delivery: Your email and Google Drive folder are used to deliver completed content packages.
- Billing & subscription management: We use Stripe to process payments and manage recurring subscriptions.
- Client communications: We send delivery confirmations, revision requests, and occasional service announcements to your email address.
- Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us improve delivery times, output quality, and reliability.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone not listed in this policy.
3. Third-Party Processors
We engage the following third-party services to operate VerbMint. Each acts as a data processor under our instructions:
- Stripe — Payment processing. Your billing information is transmitted directly to Stripe under their Privacy Policy. We receive only a tokenized payment reference.
- Google Drive / Google Workspace — Content delivery. Completed drafts are deposited into a shared Google Drive folder created for your account. Google's use of data in Drive is governed by their Privacy Policy.
- Tally.so — Intake form collection. When you fill out our onboarding form, Tally.so processes your submission. See their Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic API (Claude) — AI content generation. Your brief and business context are passed to Anthropic's API to assist with drafting. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data as follows:
- Active clients: data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
- After cancellation: client data (contact info, content briefs, delivered files) is retained for 12 months from the cancellation date, then securely deleted.
- Billing records: Stripe transaction records are retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations.
- Communications: Support emails are retained for 24 months.
You may request early deletion of your data at any time — see Section 7 (Your Rights).
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- Access controls ensuring only authorized personnel can access client data.
- Encrypted storage for credentials and API keys.
- Regular review of third-party processor security practices.

6. Cookies
VerbMint.com uses minimal cookies — primarily for site functionality and basic analytics. We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising cookies. By using the site, you consent to this minimal cookie use.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Delete your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

8. California Residents — CCPA Notice

- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information. You need not opt out.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

9. Children's Privacy
VerbMint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active clients by email for material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
